John served for over 25 years as a Board Member on the (former) Millcreek Township Sewer Authority. 12 years’ service as a Board Member on the Millcreek Township School District. 7-year service as a Board Member at the Erie County Technical
School. 2-year service (current) as a Board member on the Millcreek
Township Zoning Hearing Board. 8-year Parish Church Council Board

BSEE degree (Gannon College), MSE (Master of Science Engineering) (Gannon College), MBA degree (Gannon College).

John is a USAF veteran and worked for 42 years’ service at General Electric Co. in Erie, electrical engineer.

Reason for running for Study Commission:

John believes that looking at possible alternatives into how Millcreek could be governed is appropriate and necessary. We are growing and a review of other governance options under the Second-Class Township Code will provide Millcreek citizens with an option to consider possibly changing to a new governance format. Having experience in Township elected/appointed positions and John would like to bring this experience into the Committee that will be reviewing the alternatives.
